What you can do

14 things you can do to help the environment.

• Try your best to recycle more.

• Turn out the lights when you are not using them.

• Use a composter.

• Plant a tree.

• Try to take faster showers to save water.

•  Don't use plastic bags. 

• If you live near your school walk there instead of driving.

• Put on gloves and help pick trash.

• Pack lunches that don't have a lot of packaging that you have to throw away.

• Work with your local green team / make flyers to raise awareness.

• Write a letter to your mayor to help with the environment.

• Make a petition to help the environment.

• Donate money to a company/club helping the environment like Abbot marshlands and D and M Greenway.

• Join local environmental  groups.
