About us

The NJGreenKids.org was founded by three kids, Neva Haver(10), Lewis Haver(12) and Abigail MacEwan(12). We made this website because we wanted to raise awareness about climate change. We want to try hard to help the environment. But we wanted to start small with Bordentown, NJ then work our way up.

Goals for 2026

Win an environment grant and get recycling for the our local schools.
participate in at least 3 local events.
Raise around $200 to donate to an environment organization.
Organize around 2 events for our community.

What we did in 2025

Goals and if we accomplished them:

Get 200+ people to sign our petition. - We are working on it now and we plan to get more people interested.
Raise at least 500+ dollars to donate to companies who help the environment. - We started and raised almost $100.
Get more schools to recycle. - We applied for a recycling grant to help Bordentown middle school.
Get into at least three public events to raise awareness and money, also we should hang up posters - We went to four public events and made knot weed posters for the Green Team.
Start another even bigger petition. - We are working on the first petition and getting more people interested.
